Printing, explained.
Sizes, paper, licence and orders.
Is anything shipped?
No. You download the files and print them yourself, at a local print shop or with an online printing service. Nothing arrives by post.
Which sizes can I print?
Every download has five files: 3:4 for 30 × 40 cm, 12 × 16 in and 18 × 24 in frames; 4:5 for 8 × 10 in, 16 × 20 in and 40 × 50 cm; 2:3 for 20 × 30 cm, 40 × 60 cm and 24 × 36 in; ISO A for A4, A3 and A2; and 5:7 for 5 × 7 in and 50 × 70 cm.
How large can I print?
The files are sharpest up to A3 or 12 × 16 in. Larger prints work too and still look good from a normal viewing distance.
Which paper should I use?
A matte or lightly textured paper of 200 gsm or more suits these soft colours best. Any print shop can advise you.
Can I sell the prints?
No. The licence covers your own home, gifts and display in a space you run, such as a café or office, but not selling the files or prints made from them.
Will the colours match my screen?
Screens and printers show colour differently, so a print can look a little different from the preview. Matte paper keeps the soft tones closest.
Which payment methods do you accept?
The payment options available are shown at checkout. Prices are in euro, and the total you see before you place the order is the total you pay.
Do I need an account?
No. You can check out as a guest and use the links in your confirmation email. An account keeps every purchase in one place so you can download again whenever you like.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Email us your order number with your company name, address and tax number, and we will send you an invoice.
Can I get a refund?
If a file is faulty, missing or not as described, or you bought something twice by mistake, we will put it right. The refund policy has the details.
How do I contact you?
Email support@printvelle.com. A person answers, usually within one working day.
